*Abba budgets 64% for capital expenditure, 36% for recurrent
*Says it’s ‘Budget of Restoration and Transformation’

The Kano Sate’s N437 billion 2024 budget has been signed into law by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The DEFENDER reports that the budget bill was signed its passage earlier by the Kano State House of Assembly.
It was gathered that the budget comprises 64 percent capital expenditure and 36 percent recurrent.
The signed budget is tagged “Budget of Restoration and Transformation”.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf signed the budget on Thursday December 28, 2023 accompanied by Speaker of the House of Assembly, Right Hon. Jibrin Ismail Falgore, among other officials.
