In a statement released in his country home of Isolo town, Akure South Local Government, Ondo State, Olubo called on President Tinubu to address the matter urgently, saying the attack is a stark reminder of the nation’s security challenges.
Dayo Olubo Dayo, the Ondo State Labour Party Governorship Candidate in 2024, has strongly condemned the recent attack in Benue State that claimed over 200 lives.

The Labour Party chieftain, in a statement released in his country home of Isolo town, Akure South Local Government, Ondo State, called on President Tinubu to address the matter urgently, saying the attack is a stark reminder of the nation’s security challenges.
Olubo urged the President to take decisive action to prevent future attacks and ensure justice for the victims and their families.
He expressed concern over recurring attacks in the region, which have left many displaced and living in fear. “The government must do more to restore peace and security,” he said.
The condemnation follows a protest by angry youths, who blocked the Abuja-Makurdi highway demanding action to end the bloodshed.
