Former Chairman of Agege Local Government, Hon. Jubril Abdulkareem, is the way to go March this year Lagos State House of Assembly election.
These are the words of some supporters of the Accord Party candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly election in the March 2019 state elections in Lagos State.
They are saying that although there are threats and desperations here and there but that they will never shake nor get tired in ensuring Abdulkareem’s success at the election.
Hon. Jubril Abdulkareem, a successful businessman and Islamic scholar, has his time as chairman of Agege Local Governor as the best time the council had commiserate development cumulating into the construction and commissioning of the new council secretariat and others.
Abdulkareem’s era in the council was said to be an era of human capital development when Agege people rejoiced as elders, women, youths and other residents including market people had sense of belonging and have, since he left office, refused to turn against him despite serious temptations, our investigations revealed.
One his supporters, simply identified as Saheed, said: “Jubi,” as the grassroots politician is fondly called, “is the way to go come March state legislative election in Lagos Sate for Agege Constituency 01. I will not say more than that.”
He added that, “Although you can see Obasa, Lagos Speaker, now rushing to do things he failed to do in the last 19 years under 35 days for the Agege Constituency 01 people. But does he and his handlers really think we are fools in Agege?
“Now, after you pushed Hon. Jubril Abdulkareem out of APC, although he remains APC in the spirit as he will be part of campaign for President Muhammadu Buhari in next month presidential election, you are so desperate because you cannot stop him being candidate of other party yet so much popular.
