Iran has released new footage showing events in the Strait of Hormuz, reportedly capturing its forces intercepting and seizing commercial vessels amid rising regional tensions, against US military claim of sinking six Iranian boats.

According to Iranian state media, the video shows members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) approaching ships in fast boats before boarding them using ladders and securing control of the vessels.
Armed personnel, some wearing masks, are seen climbing onto the ships after they were accused of violating maritime regulations.
