India’s Chinmaya Foundation on Day 369 of Covid-19 Awareness, Relief Program saving lives

The Chinmaya Foundation has continued to save lives with its care for common people in India, as the Foundation now has taken on various projects to benefit communities in many ways.

Amidst the coronavirus pandemic experience across India, Chinmaya Foundation has been raising awareness about Covid-19 and distributing relief materials for example food and other items to those in needs.

The foundation has continously created awareness about the dangerous disease through drama, folk dance, folk song, bulleting literature, poster, distributing booklets and many ways with distributed relief materials such as masks, soap, sanitizers, bliching powder, hand gloves, dry and cooked food stuffs.

Additionally, the mentally challenged always received blankets, clothes, chemicalized mosquito nets and bedsheets ,winter jackets, caps through the relief distribution program.

A statement sent to The DEFENDER from the Office of Chinmaya Foundation in BabalPur on the district of JajPur, India, said that on Thursday 25 March 2021, the Covid-19 awareness and relief distribution program was conducted for day number 369 and the foundation took time to plan more for thousand numbers of families receiving its support in its home state Odisha, adding that, “Till now the foundation supports 75Lakh above families of India.”

“The foundation distributed winter cloth, dress, blanket & so many materials to poor & needy peoples along with covid-19 awareness.

“Today (Thursday), the foundation organised an awareness rally beginning from Vyasanagar Community Health Centre. The members distributed materials & aware to the people showing various placards & slogans in the area of Medical Chhak, Ganesh Market,Tarini Market, Mochi Sahi, Railway Station, No18 word etc along with support of The Maa Sharala Mass Group of Tinahathinga & other youth & women’s organizations spearheading the program.

“Mr.Chinmaya Dash, the national chairperson of Chinmaya Foundation and Smt.Mina Mallick the President of Maa Sharala Mass Group,Smt.Saraswatee Mallick the Vice-president of Maa Sharala Mass Group, Writter Sasmita Jena,Prafulla Kumar Satapathy, Saroj Kumar Jena, Social Worker Chintsmani Mallick, Alok Mallick,Partha Sarathi Nayak, Mamina Sethi, Ambuja Mallick, Muna Mallick, Kumari Rao,Rabindra Mallick, Gitarani Mallick, Kalandi Mallick, Sunei Sethi, Bhima Mallick, Mitu Mallick, Puspa Didi,Kanhu Mallick,Ajaya Mallick,Hemanta Dehuri,Manasi Mallick,Manoj Manjari Jena, Sumanta Mallick & other members are cooperated whole heartily with the behalf of the foundation along with local ANM Workers,All the member workers of V.N.Community Health Center with some social workers of various local youth and women’s organization

According to the statement, the program was highly appreciated by political leaders, intellectuals as well as general public.
