Moyosore Oyetunji, a teacher in the Lagos State Civil Service – aside being a successful mother of successful children among them a constitutional lawyer – is a social media activist on the positive side. Traditionally, The DEFENDER has an in-house style of searching for Nigerians, who use social media to advance the course of their singularly irreplaceable country Nigeria with a view to celebrating them by publishing on a more professional, serious, recognised investigative media stable like its. It has published Great Imo Jonathan (Delta), Dr. Nura Alkali (Bauchi) and, of course, Lagos Journalist and friend of the House, Prince Bashir Adefaka. The latest of such social media positive contributors is Mrs Moyosore Oyetunji. By this, the media outfit, published by Dream Concept, intends to encourage more positive thinking and use of social media for the love of country, Nigeria. Moyosore speaks in clear, straight language to the minds of Nigerian teachers. Excerpts:

And she said:

Meanwhile, if you are a bad teacher, the time is now to change for good so that you will start sharing from the blessings of a day like this.

We all know what it means to be bad, whatever you do and you don’t want to be seen doing is bad.

A teacher who always finds excuses to stay away from the school, who goes about doing some other businesses when she’s expected to be with the pupils, who teaches his pupils wrong thing, who cares less about their welfare and future, who exploits the pupils , and so on is not a good teacher.

We have all made a mistake at a time or another but when a teacher sees his pupils as his own children, who he wouldn’t want to pass through a bad teacher, he will do good to them.

God almighty will continue to help us to do our job as required.

Happy World Teacher’s Day to all good teachers and those who have decided to change from their bad ways.
