Governor-elect of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, on Tuesday witnessed the commissioning ceremony of Etinan-Eket Road by former President Olusegun Obasanjo during his visit to the state.

The 23.4km road, which forms part of several legacy projects of the outgoing administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel, was also witnessed by other distinguished stakeholders as it was commissioned.

The banker-turned politician, Eno, who took to his Facebook social media page to express his delight over the project, commended the Governor Udom Emmanuel for what he described as his vision and dedication to the development of our state, and promised to build on the solid he has laid.

The newly constructed and commissioned Etinan-Eket Road in Akwa Ibom State.

“I am delighted to witness the commissioning of the 23.4km Etinan-Eket Road by former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, in the presence of Governor Udom Emmanuel and other distinguished stakeholders.

“I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, for his remarkable leadership and the enduring legacy he has bequeathed to the people of Akwa Ibom State.

“The Etinan-Eket Road project, which includes 3 number bridges and a 4.11km outfall drain, is a significant milestone that will have a lasting impact on the people of Akwa Ibom.

“I commend the Governor for his vision and dedication to the development of our state, and I look forward to building on the solid foundation he has laid.

“Together, we will continue to commission new projects that will add value to the already existing infrastructure in the state. God bless Akwa Ibom,” Governor-elect Umo Eno said.
