How Nigerians react to Iran’s ready-made hit back at US-Israel joint aggression

*Say “shame on Trump for encouraging collaborators inside Iran to start civil war”
Diasporan South Africa said, “Last time in 2025, Iran was paralysed and needed a day to reorganise before retaliating. This time Iran was ready and began firing back instantly. Israel and USA infiltration failed this time. At least the Iranian military command remains intact and prepared for war.”
Akintoye Obisesan, a South Africa-based international affairs analyst, has sparked a debate being x-rayed by The DEFENDER Newspaper in Nigeria of how Africans especially Nigerians reacted to what they called Iran’s ready made hit back at United States of America and Israel joint aggression on the Ayatollah-led Islamic Republic on Saturday February 28, 2026.
Obisesan has posted on his verified Facebook timeline what he presented as Iran of 2026 is different from Iran of 2026.
Diasporan South Africa said, “Last time in 2025, Iran was paralysed and needed a day to reorganise before retaliating. This time Iran was ready and began firing back instantly.
“Israel and USA infiltration failed this time. At least the Iranian military command remains intact and prepared for war.
“The US has never before faced such a large-scale simultaneous attack on its overseas bases. (Video shows US base) — Reuters, citing a US official,” he said.
Contributing, a US-Israel/Iran development observer, Idris Ahmad, said, “To God Almighty be the glory.”
Wilberforce Worukwo prayed, “May God grant Iran Victory. A Big V! Amen.”
Alaba Sulaimon Nigeria said, “This is Iran self defending her sovereignty. At least, Iran didn’t start this war but America and Israel jointly do by attacking Iran while the Diplomatic talks were still going on. The same thing America did last year June, while holding a “Peaceful talk” with Iran, Mr Trumph and his cabinet members gave Israel the green lit to attack Iran.”
Ojediran Samuel Adesoji Esa, who is supporting America and Israel in the basis of Christianity, said, “Iran will pay dearly.”
Another pro-America, Charles Adeyemo, said, “Are you saying we should be rest assured Iran would survive the onslaught? I prefer No war though , the geriatric at the helm of affairs in America is Arogunyo , and the US has the strongest defence in the world.”
Furthermore, a pro-America Nigerian, Charles Eze, asked, “Do you breathe lies? Last year Iran started firing immediately.”
Much as some Nigerians in West Africa chose to support what the world recognised as America and Israel’s excesses causing disturbances of peace all over the place, there are still some of them who refuse to be blindfolded by religious sentiment as they focused on the truth.
Opatokun Aderemi, one of the straight talkers, replied Charles Eze saying, “No sir. It was after Israel killed almost twenty Iranian nuclear scientists and damage to infrastructure in Tehran.”
Okufuwa Temitope, too, replied Charles Eze, saying, “Nope, Iran could not fire a single shot until many hours because Israel 🇮🇱 had killed many of its commanders in a surprise attack, and Israel 🇮🇱 had Mossad agents on ground in Iran 🇮🇷 bombing military facilities. The game is different now.”
Tijani Babalola prayed, “May Almighty Allah grant Iran victory for this war, we use this our fasting in Ramadan to beg you ooo Allah.”
In the meantime, the Africans have taken a swipe on US President Donald Trump for calling on his collaborators inside Iran, who the government of the country has already defeated and are now powerless, to start a civil war.
Trump reportedly said, “To the Iranian people; SEIZE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN DESTINY. Your hour of freedom is near. Do not leave your homes because there will be bombs everywhere. When we finish, you will take control. This is your opportunity,” said the US president.
Reacting, Mahmood Qaasim Abu Yusra said, “Interesting, you have started what will claim you and your entire family. You are done for with your foolish sympathisers.”
“Shame on Baa’l worshippers and collaborators,” said Idris Ahmad, with Al Ka saying, “It reminds me of Libya and gaddafi.” Rotimi Oluwabunmi said, “AL KA same playbook.”
To him, Charles Ujunwa Ingreen said, “Iran is gone, whether you’re happy about it or not, it’s over. Ayatollah is gone for good.” But he was hit back by Akintoye Obisesan, who asked, “Charles Ujunwa Ingreen how do I take people like you serious … A people that jubiliated last year “Iranian nuclear facilities have been OBLITERATED” …?”
Charles Ujunwa Ingreen was simply dismissed by Essien UG asking Obisesan as he said, “Akintoye Obisesan The name is Igbo ni. Just ignore!”
Also replying to Charles Ujunwa Ingreen’s apparently infuriating pro-aggressors comment, Tayo Ilorin said, “Charles Ujunwa Ingreen You think Iran is like Biafra or Ayattolah is Ojukwu??”
Bello Sherrif also knocked Ujunwa calling him, “Irredeemable slaves of the west. You shall soon be put to shame.” And Ayinde Yusuf asked, “Charles Ujunwa Ingreen how is Iran your enemy or your problems? Why are you people like this?” And Sola Joshua asked, “Charles Ujunwa Ingreen Why do you people hate Iran so much?”
