Horror as 8 Sri Lankan Churches, hotels bombed on Easter Sunday

A disaster described as horrible has occurred in Sri Lanka with Churches and hotels bombed on Easter Sunday services.

The multiple attacks on Colombo, Sri Lanka, left many killed and several injured.

An update reaching The DEFENDER said:

“Weeks ago, A man in New Zealand opened fire in a mosque of unsuspecting Muslims who were praying, killing 49 people.

“TODAY (Sunday), Easter Sunday, there has been bomb explosions in 8 Sri Lankan churches and hotels, killing over 200 people.”

In the meantime, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his condolences on behalf of Government and people of the country to the Government, victims and families of Sri Lankans killed in the unfortunate events.

President Buhari, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, called on the authorities in the country not to spare anybody found to be in connection with what have been described as satanic acts carried out in places of worship.
