Gov Yusuf appoints leaders for Kano’s Civil Service, Sharia, Zakkat Commissions

The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointments of members to the Kano State Civil Service Commission, Kano Sharia Commission and the state’s Zakkat and Hubsi Commission.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, the governor was said to have invoked his constitutional powers to finalize the appointments in alignment with established procedures.
The appointments are:
A- Civil Service Commission
1. Engr. Ahmad Ishaq – Chairman
2. Alh. Abdullahi Mahmoud – Permanent Member I
3. Ado Ahmed Mohammed – Permanent Member II
B- Sharia Commission
1. Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji – Executive Chairman
2. Mallam Hadi Gwani Dahiru – Permanent Commissioner I
3. Sheikh Ali Dan’Abba – Permanent Commissioner II
4. Mallam Adamu Ibrahim – Member
5. Mallam Abubakar Ibrahim Mai Ashafa – Member
6. Mallam Naziru Saminu Dorayi – Member
7. Sheikh Kawu Aliyu Harazumi – Member
8. Sheikh Mukhtar Mama – Member
9. Sheikh Ibrahim Inuwa Limamin Ja’en – Member
10. Sheikh Dr. Sani Ashir – Secretary/Member
C- Zakkat and Hubsi Commission
