Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has received report of the Transition Committee in a brief ceremony held at the Government House Council Chamber, in Gusau.
Speaking during the event, the governor said his administration would implement recommendations of the committee in line with rescue mission of the state government.
Governor Lawal further reiterated the determination of his administration to revitalise all sectors of the economy in the state, saying all his campaign promises would be fulfilled.
He disclosed that the state government had reduced its ministries from 28 to16 to save running cost of governance.
He thanked members of the committee for performing what he described as excellent job and pledged to holistically implement the recommendations one-by-one.
The Zamfara governor called on people of the state to be patient with his administration as government is doing everything humanly possible to raise their living standard.
In his own remarks, Chairman of the committee, IGP Muhammad Dikko Abubakar (Rtd), said the committee did its best to come up with far reaching recommendations for the benefit of the state.
He said the report consists of four parts such as administration, economy, social welfare and environment.
The former Inspector General of Police urged the stafe government to study the report with a view to implementing it for the good and in the overall interest of the state.
MD Abubakar thanked the state government for giving him the opportunity to serve the state in the capacity.
