The fifth annual public lecture of Freedom Online will hold today in Lagos.
The event, which will parade some former and sitting governors im Nigeria, is scheduled to be graced by dignitaries including the former Military Governor of Old Ondo State and Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode Ibiyinka George, who will be special guest of Honour at the occasion.
Themed, “2023-2027: Nigerians, Elected Leaders and Expectations”, the event, holding at the Sharaton Hotels and Towers in Ikeja, Lagos, will have former Governor of Ogun State and current member of the Nigerian Senate representing Ogun East, Senator Gbenga Daniel, as Chairman.
The special guest speaker will be the Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Duoye Diri, and special keynote speaker being the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
The chief hosts at the annual lecture will be the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), Mr. Eze Anaba, and President, Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP), Maureen Chigbo, while Mr. Gabriel Akinadewo, Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief, Freedom Online, will be host.
