Israel’s genocide of Palestinians continues amidst ongoing appeals for a humanitarian truce to end the increasing toll of civilian deaths, Morocco World News reports on Sunday.

The latest data reported by Al Jazeera also on Sunday said that Israel’s occupation forces killed over  8,000  people, with reports expecting the number to surge amidst continued Israeli aggression and war crimes targeting civilians, including children in its oppression that predated the October 7, 2023 Hamas surprise Tel Aviv and their United States of America-led western nations claim to be avenging.

The new update came after the Palestinian health ministry confirmed the killing of 7,650 people, including at least 3,195 children and 1,863 women.

The massacres also caused injuries among 20,000 people since the beginning of the genocide on October 7.

Israeli airstrikes and artillery attacks have been continued and intensified overnight, particularly in the northern regions of the besieged strip.

“The situation in Gaza has grown increasingly dire as the Israeli genocidal aggression escalates, with a complete breakdown in telecommunication networks and the internet,” Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

The situation affected healthcare facilities as well as services, including ambulances.

Israel continues the aggressive attacks despite appeals, including from the UN, to establish a humanitarian ceasefire and allow entry for aid.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s government angrily commented on the humanitarian truce appeal, vowing that it will continue its attacks on Gaza.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan attacked the global organization, claiming that it no longer held even “one ounce of legitimacy or reliance.”

The situation has stirred frustration among the international community, which continues to fail to put enough pressure on Israel to end its violence and aggression against Palestinians.

Palestine’s ambassador to the UN Riyad Mansour on Friday slammed the double standard exerted by Western media and leaders.

“Why do some feel so much pain for Israelis and so little pain for us, the Palestinians? What is the problem? Do we have the wrong faith, the wrong skin color, the wrong nationality?” he said during the emergency General assembly meeting on Friday.
