The Finance Minister, Anton Siluanov, will head Russia’s delegation at the G20 meeting, the press service of the Russian Finance Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Finance Minister Anton Siluanov will head Russia’s delegation at the G20 meeting,” the statement said.

The G20 financial meeting in Washington is scheduled for April 20. Indonesia is this year’s organiser of the summit.

US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen will boycott several sessions of the G20 meeting in Washington planned for April 20 if they are attended by Russia, a Treasury Department official said earlier.

Russian Finance Minister Siluanov is expected to attend some of the upcoming meetings virtually. Yellen will attend the opening session devoted to the global economy. Russia is expected to attend it as well.
