Finally, Kwara Governor notices ‘unputdownable’ KAM Holding’s giant stride, applauds boss on investment drive

The ‘unputdownable’ contribution of Dr. Kamoru Yusuf as the biggest investor, after government in Kwara State, has finally come to the notice of Governor of the state, Mallam AbduRahman AbdulRazaq.

Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, being led by Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of KAM Holding, Dr. Kamory Yusuf, during the tour of the facilities in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Monday, 23rd December 2019.

This led to why the governor visited his facilities of KAM Holding, a leading indigenous Iron and Steel Manufacturer in Nigeria, on Monday.

During the visit, Governor AbdulRazaq promised to support private investors in a bid to change the narratives of Kwara State from being a core civil servant to truly industrialised state.

He noted that the name, ‘KAM Holding’ is being heard everywhere as an outstanding industry in the steel sector stressing that its impact is also being felt as the largest employer of labour in the private sector in the state.

The governor, who commended the Group Managing Director/CEO of the industry, Dr. Kamoru Yusuf, for being a proud citizen of the state, noted that, “We shall always consult you to get workable model for better entrepreneurial programme for the state.”

In his remark, Dr. Yusuf thanked the governor for the visit and promised to continue to do his best towards the growth and development of the state and nation at large.

The DEFENDER reports that two Nigeria”s Ministers of Commerce, Trades and Investments, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, and his Mines and Steel Development counterpart, Arc. Olamilekan Adegbite, at the Federal level, have not only gotten attracted to KAM Holding but have also physically visited its facilities.

During their separate visits, they described the company also popularly called KAM Wire in Kwara, as a dependable ally in manufacturing business moving Nigeria to its rightful place as the Giant of Africa.
