‘Fake PFIPC DG’ Adeyemi reportedly arrested

Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, the alleged self-styled Director-General of the “phantom” Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), has been arrested under a court-issued warrant.

The arrest was confirmed in a video reportedly released by TVC News, showing Adeyemi in police custody.

Justice Mohammed Umar ordered Adeyemi’s arrest on Tuesday July 14, 2026 after counsel to the Nigeria Police Force, Wisdom Madaki, made an oral application to the court.
