Emir of Ilorin, Attah of Aiyede Ekiti, Kola Animasaun widow greet Sultan of Sokoto at 64

Notable Nigerians mainly the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and Attah of Aiyede Ekiti and Chairman, Ekiti State Muslim Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty Alhaji AbdulMumini Adebayo Orishagbemi, have sent their congratulatory messages to the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, who clocked 64 Monday 24, 2020.

Also greeting the world class personality and Nigeria’s number monarch was the matriarch of Kola Animasaun family, Alhaja Siliphat Dupe Animasaun, who sent her goodwill message for him from London, United Kingdom on Tuesday.

Rejoicing with Sultan, in a congratulatory message on Tuesday issued by his Spokesperson, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir of Ilorin described him as a committed tool of national peace and unity.

According to him, “My prayers are with His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar CFR, mni as he clocks 64 years on earth. Your contributions to nation-building process as the President-General of Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, (NSCIA), Grand-Patron of notable groups and associations, Chairman of the Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council, (NTRC), as well as the custodian of the heritage of the great city of Sokoto caliphate.

“You are indeed a rare gem, a quintessential monarch, a detribalise Nigerian and a global citizen of high value. On behalf of the entire people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond, I wish Your Eminence long life and prosperity for the meritorious service of our nation and humanity at large.”

Also rejoicing with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Leader, Attah of Aiyede Ekiti, Alhaji Orishagbemi described the Sultan of Sokoto as a leader per excellence, saying the level at which Nigeria peace programme reached today could not have been perfected appraised without the mention of the Sarikin Musulumi of Nigeria.

The Attah spoke through a statement issued by his media and publicity consultants, Defender Media Limited.

“It is great and sweet for the ears to hear that my Spiritual Leader, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar is 64. At this age, we can only talk or make releases. The truth is,the Sultan’s good work and performance in ensuring peace and unity among Nigerians of diverse religious cultural backgrounds for development of Nigeria are and will continue to speak for him,” the Attah said.

As for Alhaja Animasaun, she wished “His Eminence a very happy birthday, long life with full strength and more blessings”
