Senior Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor of Edo State on media, Mr Benjamin Atu, has cautioned members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state and their governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, to desist from using the massive achievements of the Obaseki administration to campaign in their ward to ward tour.
“Reports have reached our desk that APC members are moving to various locations in the rural communities where the impact of the Governor has been felt, telling the people to support Governor Godwin Obaseki based on his massive achievements as APC Governor and they should continue to vote for APC so that Godwin Obaseki will do more for them.”
They have deployed their agents to the streets to confuse the innocent public that Obaseki is still in APC and they should Massively support their sinking party. This message is to draw the attention of their victim that APC doesn’t exist in Edo State. Let it be known to the World that Obaseki is no more in APC. PDP is the Party and Obaseki is the Governor. Their campaign is the height of political witchcraft.
“This is evil campaign of calumny and deception by a candidate who referred to himself as a pastor. How can Ize-Iyamu publicly deny his calling as a pastor in his desperation to become a Governor. Is lie no longer a sin in Ize-Iyamu’s Bible? ”
“Members of the public should enlighten others that are not properly informed, that Godwin Obaseki has left the APC and is no more with the perishing party. Obaseki is now in People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and all of his supporters should be aware that the Umbrella of PDP is sufficient to provide shelter and good governance to the people of the State.
“Unfortunately, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has descended so low and suddenly denied his Faith as a pastor by using the name of Obaseki to seek for votes under the umbrella of the APC”.
“This is a clear testimony of what Comrade Adams Oshiomhole told us that the APC Candidate lies effortlessly. “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau” This is deceptive and evil. If you claimed Obaseki has not performed as a Governor then why using his name to seek for support in rural areas?”
According to the Edo state Deputy Governor’s aide: “In Genesis 27:30 Jacob went ahead to reap the benefits and Labour of Esau. Ize-Iyamu has gone ahead like Jabob to attempt to reap where he has not sown but he will surely receive the greatest shocker of failure on election day,” Atu declared.
The media Aide describe Obaseki’s traducers as a bunch of egotistical, lying narcissistic, who have sold their souls long ago and auctioned the future of Edo State in order to advance their political careers.
“They are selfish, manipulative, scheming, and venal. The only feelings they care about is their own.”
“Obaseki was motivated into politics due to his passion for service. His crusade for a better Edo State. Obaseki has a long sophisticated history of public service with an enormous range of intellectual weaponry of best contacts of investors across the world, to revolutionise the State and transform it to a preferred destination. What drove Obaseki’s political career was not ambition but service to humanity.”
“Ize-Iyamu is destined to lose, however deceitfully brilliantly they may campaign. They can’t swim against the tide. The storm is against Ize-Iyamu and his sponsor. The APC candidate can’t be trusted with political power.

“Since he is claiming Glory for Obaseki’s projects and achievements, let him also be bold to come out to acknowledge the achievements of the Obaseki’s administration.”
“No individual will see and hear about the achievements of Godwin Obaseki and fail to be moved by the heroic determination of the Governor in transforming the State into an economic hub to improve the lives of the people. Obaseki has graciously honoured all his campaign promises to the people of the State and the people are ready to vote for him and the PDP for continuity.
“Despite Ize-Iyamu and his team’s campaign of calumny against the Governor, they will be put to public shame by the weight of their failure on September 19, 2020,” the Statement added.
