Management of DREAM CONCEPT, publishers of The DEFENDER, has expressed his sympathy to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the entire Tinubu family over what it described as the shocking death of their first son, Barrister Olajide Tinubu.
Jide died Wednessday in a circumstance still shocking to many within and outside the family.
The DEFENDER’s publishing company in a statement signed by its Manager Administration, Basirat Olasunkanmi Shittu, asked Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and Leader of governing All Progressives Congress (APC), to take heart and be consoled by the fact that “the best knowledge of circumstances surrounding human existence resides with Allah and Him alone.”
The young but vibrant The DEFENDER’s owners, however, prayed that Allah’s protection may be on the remaining members of the family as well as pray for good, elongated life of the politician in the service of the Lord and humanity.
The statement read: “The death of Mr. Jide Tinubu came at a time many Nigerians were celebrating the latest move by Asiwaju Tinubu to once and for all stand strongly with President Muhammadu Buhari against odds in the way of achieving the desired country that is the common dream of all Nigerians.
“We can only pray to Allah to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and protect the rest members of the family on the years ahead,” it said.
In the meantime, Governors of Sokoto and Katsina states, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Alhaji Bello Masari, respectively visited Tinubu at his Abuja home on Wednesday to sympathise with him over the loss.
