The People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic announced the denazification of the Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian troops.
“The 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been completely denazified in the Mariupol direction,” the message on the Telegram channel of the People’s Militia of the DPR says .
It is noted that the DPR servicemen seized four Ukrainian tanks, two armored vehicles, two sets of communications of the Harris tactical level.
“Our specialists are studying documents and secret media abandoned by the occupiers during the shameful flight,” the text says.
According to the People’s Militia, since the beginning of the special military operation, more than 330 representatives of the Ukrainian troops voluntarily defected to the side of the DPR, 25 of them are in medical institutions.
Russia launched a military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine on February 24. The armed forces say they are only targeting military infrastructure and Ukrainian troops. There are casualties on both sides.
