Deji of Akure, Kingdom sons, daughters, friends thank Sultan, Tambuwal over eventful visit to Seat of Caliphate

The Deji and Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo, has sent his profound appreciation to the Sultan of Sokoto and Chairman, Nigeria’s Traditional Rulers Council (TRCN), Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar for his warm reception for him and his entourage during his historic visit that started on Monday 1st to Wednesday 3rd July 2019.

The Deji described the honour done to him by the Sultan and his entire Sultanate Council members including the all the District Heads in Sokoto State as the peak ever experienced by anyone in recent times.

He also thanked the Governor of Sokoto State for his decision to join the Sultan in receiving and honouring him, adding that the hospitality displayed by both the Sokoto monarch he described as number one in Nigeria and the governor is yet to be matched by anyone.

The Deji has said that he has personally signed an appreciation letter which will be transmitted in short time to the Seat of Caliphate, even as he said he would continue to partner with the Sultan in ensuring sustained peace and unity project for the good and love of Nigeria.

The DEFENDER reports that the Deji was accompanied by a 20-member high powered delegation including the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Olu Falae, Secretary to the Government of Ondo State (SSG), Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde a.k.a. Abena, HOD Botany University of Ibadan, Professor Abiodun Ayodele, business magnates Olumide Origunloye, Sunday Falae, Adebisi Adeniyi, former Ondo State Commissioner for Physical Planning, Mr. Ayo Ajayi, Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, Alhaji Abdul-Hakeem Yayi Akorede, former Member Ondo State House of Assembly, Honourable (Princess) Kemisola Akinsanya, among others.
