*70% of Katsina women will vote for APC, Hajia Amina Dauda assures
*Tells party’s National Youth Leader, “You will have no problem with us”

The nationwide familiarisation tour of the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Dayo Israel, took him to Katsina, North West Nigeria, at the weekend.
As part of his activities in the state, on Monday October 17, 2022 he met with Hajia Amina Dauda, who is Special Adviser to the Governor on Girl Child Education.
The biggest plus to the party from the all-important meeting is the fact that although one woman with one vote but, Hajia Dauda, a pragmatic grassroots politician cum state officer, possesses the willpower to influence the voting direction of larger population of Katsina State women and mobilise them in their numbers to a voting pattern of a particular choice, which ostensibly tilts towards the APC.
In the coming elections, she has promised – and whoever is conversant with the natural characteristics of Hausa-Fulani people knows that they are no promise breakers – to work for at least 70 if not 80 percent of women in the state to vote for the ruling APC.
The DEFENDER, from the ongoing move especially with the drive by Israel and achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari, antecedents of the party’s presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima, gathered that, “if the insecurity of banditry unleashed on the state over the times was politically motivated to embarrass President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC he has led successfully as Leader of the Party since 2015 for them to lose elections in 2023, then the mission is a failed one because the Katsina State people say they know their problem is neither Buhari nor APC and so have made up their mind to vote massively for the APC”.
That aspect of the information gathered from among notable voices in the state of two presidents and one vice president was Monday corroborated in the outcome of Hon Dayo Israel’s meeting with the one woman with the power of man, Amina Dauda, who has capacity to mobilise the largest number of women and who has promised to do that in the favour of APC.
In her words she said, “Women in whole of Katsina State are going to vote for APC.
“You know we women are the heart of politics. If we promise people, if we say we are going to do this, we will make sure that we do it. I’m sure 70 percent of Katsina State women, or I can say 80 percent, we are going to vote for APC from up to down.
“You will never have any problem with us. Inshallah by the grace of Almighty Allah,” Hajia Amina Dauda assured.
Speaking in a message received by The DEFENDER Monday night, the APC National Youth Leader, Hon Dayo Israel, said: “I have just met with Hajia Amina Dauda, Katsina’s powerful women mobiliser and SA Girl Child Education to Gov Masari. She has assured that like they performed for Pres. BUHARI in 2015 and 2019, they will deliver massively for BAT. The State of Yaradua and BUHARI will not disappoint TINUBU.”
Also during the visit, Hon Israel has paid a visit to families of victims of banditry in the Batagarawa Local Government Area of the state, during which he comforted them in terms of good words and donation of food items and other useful materials.
“I also assured them that the Bola Tinubu administration will intensify effort to secure Nigeria and ensure we can all sleep at night with our eyes closed. We will get there,” Israel said optimistically.
