Nigeria’s Professor of law and public affairs analyst, Professor Yisuf Dankofa, is finding it difficult that immediate past Governor of Kano State, Mr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, does not seed the many benefits of the investment in foreign based education that children of the poor are receiving under the administration of his successor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Dankofa, a university don, made this expression in separate posts on his Facebook timeline on Thursday, while commending Governor Yusuf for his Kwankwasiyah political ideology-based government’s education of children of the poor at a stage that, without him, would never have been possible.

The DEFENDER had recently reported the Kano State administration’s dispatch of male and female students of the state to Mumbai, India for university education as its way of ensuring realistic growth and development.

The report had said the Yusuf government’s stride shows that it is not only about mass wedding but also about mass education  of Kano’s children with poor background as a major catchment area.

“The children of the poor were ferried out for foreign training by the present administration in Kano State.

“I commend the government on this pro-poor programme

“I also think there are some benefits when people leave their comfort zone to compete in foreign lands.

“It gives them a global outlook of life.

“If not for government scholarships, the children of the poor will never be exposed to these kind of opportunities that the children of the privileged class are already used to,” barrister and law teacher, Dankofa said.

He wondered, “Now hear Ganduje; He called it a scam and a venture that is not going to be beneficial.

“The same Ganduje, whose children are products of foreign education.

“To love the poor is a task that is impossible by the Nigerian conservative leadership oligarchy.”

Israel’s claims

On Israel, the Professor of Law said, “I don’t really understand. Israeli keep saying it has decimated and destroyed Hamas.

“And the same Hamas comes out in the open and hand over captured refugees to Red Cross in the same Gaza

“And the same Hamas under the Isreali heavy bombardment are still alive with the refugees.

“Something is missing here,” he did.

“The simple explanation is that Israeli is simply killing innocent people, while Hamas is beyond their reach,” he said.

Rarara

Professor Yusuf Dankofa took a swipe on a Northern Nigeria singer, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, over his double standards and lack of principle he displayed between immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari and current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Rarara, the famous hausa musician that praised Buhari to high heavens has come out to say that President Muhammadu Buhari destroyed this country.

“I am not suprised. Most Nigerians are like Rarara. When you are in power, they extoll your weaknesses as virtues.

“They are with you for the benefits or fame they will get.

“When you are out of power, they understood tust you no longer can dispense favour.

“To get the attention of the new men of power, they will critise, abuse and when humiliate you.

“The same Rarara that said Buhari’s opposition and enemies cannot be politically successful is singing a new tune today.

“Yesterday, Buhari was the best and today Buhari destroyed Nigeria.

“We cannot get it right because we always think about our pockets rather than see the truth.

“What manner of a man will extoll a leader today and tomorrow tells the world that, that leader bankrupted the nation.

“These manner of men are the majority who will never speak the truth because of religion, tribe and pockets.

“Don’t abuse Rarara, because you share the same idiosyncrasies with him. You will never say the truth because of your parochial nature!” He said.
