The re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the terrorist Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), will mark the end of the group, it is said as citizens react to the development on Tuesday.

They hailed the wisdom of Nigeria’s government to have perfectly kept the information about the suspected criminal’s recapture and extradition from London, United Kingdom to itself since on Sunday until it was able to arraign him before an Abuja Federal High Court on Tuesday years after he had jumped bail and escaped to continue his evils against the country from abroad.

Some Nigerians made the assertion about his terrorist group coming to an end, while claiming that Kanu’s re-arrest was an indication that President Muhammadu Buhari is in charge of the country’s security.

Kanu’s re-arrest by the Nigerian Government is said to be a signal to Yoruba secessionist agitators led by Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho that they are not above the law.

A combined team of Nigerian and foreign agents had re-arrested Kanu in a coordinated operation in London.\

Although the Spokesmen of Nigerian Police Force and Department of State Services (DSS) did not respond to The DEFENDER’s enquiry whatsapp for confirmation of his re-capture, earlier, a very reliable source at the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) confirmed that “Yes. He is” arrested, extradited to Nigeria and that big story was happening at the Federal High Court.
