Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has said that her boss came into politics for the main reason of supporting the poor.

She said this as the President’s 3rd anniversary in office and democracy day celebrations were celebrated in Abuja on Tuesday.

Onochie, against what some willful critics claim as nonperformance of the President in three years, reeled out graphic representations of some of the Muhammadu Buhari Administration’s achievements and said the President has brought hope for a future Nigeria with less corruption.

She posted this on her Twitter handle on Wednesday.

“In the next few days, @MBuhari will be joined by some Nigerian Youth as he signs ‘The Not Too Young to Run Bill’.  I knew he would.  I said he would.  Pres. Buhari came into politics to support the poor, the vulnerable and the youth,” she said.

Presenting some of those achievements, Onochie said, “#3YearsOfBuhari has brought us hope for a future Nigeria with less corruption. Luckily, we still have #5MoreYearsOfBuhari. God has blessed Nigeria.”
