*As outgoing President names new Board for Fund

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Garzali Muhammed Abubakar as the Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Development Fund.
The announcement to this effect was made by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, in a statement dated May 25, 2023 and copy of which was sent to The DEFENDER on Thursday.
According to Shehu, the President also approved the appointment of Mrs. Aduke Bamidele Hussain as Chairman with new members of Board of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) named as Dr. Hussaini I. Mohammed (North Central Representative); Mr. Mohammed Umar (North West Representative); Mr. Abdulsalam Yahaya Ahmed (North East Representative); Mrs. Stella Uzokwe (South East Representative); Mr. Stephen Ikata (South South Representative) and Mr. Olufunlayo Oluwole Faloye (South West Representative).
President Muhammadu, who presided over a valedictory Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting that would be the last of his administration on Wednesday May 24, 2023, will vacate office as his second four-year tenure in office expires on Monday May 29.
