Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Wednesday evening emerged Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF).
He was elected during the meeting of the forum, which is still in Abuja as at the time of filing this report.
Fayemi had been the favourite to chair the forum after the Governors reportedly rejected Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State.
He takes over from Zamfara State’s outgoing Governor Abdulaziz Yari.
