A former Chairman of Pension Reforms Task Team, Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina, has been convicted and sentenced to eight years imprisonment but to run concurrently.
Justice Okon Abang of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, gave the sentence in a judgement on Monday.
The court had found Maina guilty of inducing staff of Fidelity Bank to open bank accounts for him without conducting due diligence and money laundering.
