Now, I wonder how and why Kukah will be writing to the late Sardauna of Sokoto that much blood has been shed in the North while he is currently the favourite actor of the very segment of Nigerians that gruesomely murdered and shed the blood of the same Sardauna he claimed to be writing to!”
In a desperate bid to distract attention or intellectual scrutiny from his unending penchant for bigotry and hatemongering, a letter said to be written by Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah to the late Sardauna of Sokoto Sir Ahmadu Bello has gone viral, and, once again, it appears to be a very popular item among his fan base, which is largely made up of ethno-religious bigots and rabid haters of northern Nigeria.
Apparently, after establishing and confirming his credential as a virulent hater of northern Nigeria, and after receiving very hard knocks over this obnoxious credential from the same northern Nigerians he loves to deride at will, he chose to pen a very pretentious letter to the late Premier of Northern Nigeria in which he cast himself as an admirer and lover of the late Premier and the great achievements he made for the North. Kukah could have won an Oscar for this act of fake acting, seriously!

Now, I wonder how and why Kukah will be writing to the late Sardauna of Sokoto that much blood has been shed in the North while he is currently the favourite actor of the very segment of Nigerians that gruesomely murdered and shed the blood of the same Sardauna he claimed to be writing to! Yes, Sardauna’s blood was shed in the North but not by northerners, but by insurgents and insurrectionists outside the North who Kukah is in bed with today, and always trying to cast them as victims of his usual lies and bigotry about a so called northern hegemony.
Let Kukah be told that, even though blood has been shed, or is even still being shed in the North, history has recorded how that bloodshed began, and the same history keeps recording those who gloat, lie and seek to make opportunistic political or religious capital out of it. Dead people don’t read letters from earthly people, much less from hypochondriacs and conflict entrepreneurs. Therefore, Kukah should save us his sick, distasteful drama of hypocrisy and mischief.
