US President Joe Biden on Saturday called his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin a “butcher” while meeting Ukrainian refugees in Warsaw.
According to a report published by The Times of India, Biden when asked what he thought of Putin, after the meeting, he said: “He’s a butcher.”
Biden also said that he was not sure that Russia had changed its strategy in its invasion of Ukraine, after Moscow said its focus was now to completely “liberate” the breakaway eastern Donbass region.
“I am not sure they have,” Biden said when asked by a reporter if Russia had changed its strategy.
In the meantime, the reading public in India have taking to the website of The Times of India over the Biden’s statement with on of them describing the American president as instigating Russian President Putin to war with NATO.
