The Atayero of Aramoko Ekiti, Oba Olusegun Aderemi JP, has expressed his condolences to the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, on the death of Alhaji Hassan Danbaba, Magajin Garin Sokoto and grandson of the late Premier of defunct Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto.
 
The monarch, who spoke in Lagos, said news of the death of Danbaba was not only shocking but also very devastating, considering his position in the Caliphate and the roles he played in the food security in Nigeria and recent rice pyramids successfully done in Abuja.
 
The Atayero also extended his condolence to the deceased’s family, other Councillors in the Sultanate Council and the entire Caliphate.
 
“May Allah repose his soul in Al-Jannah Firdauz, Amiin,” Atayero said.
