Atayero commiserates with Sultan Abubakar over death of father in-law

By BASHIR ADEFAKA

The news of the death of Alhaji Abubakar Imam Galadanchi has been received by His Royal Majesty Oba Olusegun Aderemi JP, the Atayero of Aramoko Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Late Galadanchi, who died in London after a protracted illness last Saturday July 8, 2023, was father of the wife of Chairman, National Traditional Rulers Council of Nigeria (NTRCN) and Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar.

In his reaction to the death, Atayero expressed his heartfelt condolence to the Sultan, while praying that Allah will accept the late father in-law as a good servant, forgive him his sins and repose his soul in Al-Jannah Firdaus.

The monarch affirmed that although it was not desirable that the Papa Abubakar Galadanchi would depart “us at any time soon”, he said he had no choice that to accept for Allah as, in his establishment, death is a necessary end and, “like Muslims would say,” it must be accepted.
