Thousands of Zamfara state All Progrssive Congress APC youths supporters from various groups and organisations have donated the sum of N200 million to support Governor Bello Matawalle re-election bid come 2023 gubernatorial election in the state.
Presenting the check to the state deputy Governor, Senator Hassan Nasiha, the National Youths Leader of the APC, Comrade Dayo Israel, said the teeming youths in the state have decided to offer their support with a view to ensure Governor Matawalle is reelected 2023.
Comrade Israel, who spoke on behalf of the joint youths groups, further noted that, it has been a tradition to publicly express commendation for one especially an elected Governor that does good to his people in order for him to double his efforts.
“We have noticed with satisfaction about the numerous projects been executed across the state by the present Matawalle-led administration which have direct impact on the lives of the good citizens of the state.
“We found it necessary to call on all the good citizens of the state to collect their PVCs and utilise their votes so that, the developmental projects started by Governor Matawalle administration could be completed”, Comrade Israel has stressed.
Also speaking, Governor Matawalle who was represented by his deputy, Senator Hassan Nasiha, assured continuation of projects that would serve to rebuild the state economy and to restore commercial enterprising in the state.
