Danfulani made the assertion Tuesday in Gusau while formally taking over leadership of the party in an elaborate ceremony at the state APC secretariat.

He stated that while the party strives towards bringing more supporters, it will not relent in supporting the state leader and governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle in seeing that dividends of democracy are spread in all parts of the state.

According to him, the new leadership under his stewardship will continue to bring all its members together as one united family warning that the executive will not allow the arbitrary opening of party offices especially as it is done by those trying to factionalize the party, except as enshrined in the party constitution.

While expressing gratitute to Allah over the improvement and successes recorded in the fight against insecurity by the Matawalle administration, the Chairman maintained that the party will support the state government in evolving ways that will bring lasting peace in the state.

He urged members of the party and all the good people of the state to continue to support and pray for the Matawalle-led administration so that there will be more employment opportunities and self reliance especially for all categories of the youth and women.

Earlier while handing over the mantle of leadership to the new Chairman, Senator Hassan Muhammad Nasiha who served as caretaker Chairman expressed gratefulness at the conclusion of the congresses in the state which he noted were peaceful.

Senator Nasiha who said his team had drawn all major stakeholders together to ensure oneness of the party urged the new leadership to continue to unite all members and ensure justice and fairness to all.
