An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Chairman of former Lagos State Local Government Areas Chairmen, Abiodun Mafe has congratulated the wife of Minister of Interior, Alhaja Sherifat Abidemi Aregbesola, on her 60th birthday.
Mafe described Alhaja Aregbesola as humility personified.
According to him, Alhaja Aregbesola irrespective of whatever situation always display calmness and receive visitors with infectious smiles.
“She is a dutiful wife to our leader, a worthy mother to their children and a reliable partner in championing the cause of good governance,” he said.
Mafe, the former Chairman of Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area, hailed Alhaja Aregbesola’s silent philanthropic nature.
Through the Shericare Foundation (SCARF), which she founded, Mafe said many downtrodden have immensely benefited.
“She is a silent giver, achiever and great mobiliser for a just cause. Her action speak louder than her voice. Many Lagosians, people in Osun and Ijagbo, Kwara state would not forget her gesture during the COVID-19 lockdown. Her palliative to each of 10,000 beneficiaries in the three states was one of the best during the period. What the beneficiaries got was beyond their expectations,” he said.
He prayed to God to grant her long life, good health and more wisdom.
“We need more of Alhaja Aregbesola to move our country forward. She is a blessing to the Aregbesola family, the APC and Nigeria as a whole,” he said.
