The DEFENDER reports that the official coronation and presentation of Sarki Hamisu F-Shour to the kingdom’s traditional council were performed on Wednesday March 6, 2024 during which the Oba called on him to discharge his duties according to the law of the land.

According to the king, the title of Sarkin Hausawa “is a big one” especially the one that stretches across, approved and confirmed by joint chieftaincy committee of two council areas of Oriade Local Council Development Area and Amuwo Odofin Local Government in the state.

Oba Taofik said the joint communities of Alahun Osumba, Comfort Obot and Kirikiri Town have gotten a good man as their Sarkin Hausawa and, point to him, he said, “You are a good man because your people love you so much.  Please, don’t disappoint them because today, you are their Sarki.

“When we carried out our investigations on you, your people and, by extension, people of other tribes told us that you have been with them for over 48 years without any problem with anybody. Congratulations!” Oba Akeju said.
