*As Gov Aliyu makes other appointments

Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru, the Galadima Garin Sokoto, as th new Chairman for the state Water Board.
Governor Aliyu also approved other chairmen and members of Boards including that of State Primary Schools Pension Board, Local Government Staff Pension Board and Universal Basic Education Board.
The DEFENDER reports that Abubakar Bawa, Press Secretary to the Governor, made this known in a statement he issued, signed and dated Thursday February 1, 2024 and copy of which was obtained by this multi-lingual newspaper on Friday.
The appointments are listed as follows:
