The Iralepo of Isinkan in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, Barrister Oluwagbemiga Ajimokumola Olofin-Adimula, Arulewolasi III, has described the recovery and safe return of the state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN), from medical leave in far away Europe, as an attestation to the healing power of God.
This, the lawyer-turned monarch said, is owing to the fervent prayers of the people of Ondo State and Nigerians at large who prayed day and night for him.
The traditional ruler, in a statement personally signed by him and copied to The DEFENDER on Tuesday September 19, 2023, expressed appreciation to God for the safe return and recovery of the Governor that many within and outside his core South West state know and talk much about as a pragmatic and quintessential state leader.
“I thank the Almighty God for bringing our amiable, indefatigable and courageous Truth Crusader back whole, hale and hearty. I am thoroughly delighted to see him returned home after his medical vacation. This Governor is a special child of God.
“We must thank the Almighty God for sparing all our lives and granting Mr. Governor a most remarkable recovery. His return marks a new lease of life for his administration,” the king said.
Oba Olofin-Adimula, who is the traditional ruler of Isinkan – a town beside Akure community in the state capital, further stated that, “I am confident that Mr. Governor’s resumption is with greater vigour to pursue an economic agenda that will improve the welfare of the people of Ondo State.”
He said, “It is now time for us all to continue to pray for the perfection of the healing and divine rejuvenation to enable him steer the affairs of the State in the right direction.”
The Iralepo said Governor Akeredolu has always been a man of moral fortitude, discipline, strength and dedication, adding that these attributes helped him battle all challenges
“Today, the people of Isinkan Kingdom are glad and happy for Mr Governor’s quick recovery.
