Despite sensitization by government and security agencies about why the second wave of destructive #EndSARS protest tagged as #OccupyLekkiTollGate will not be allowed to happen, some headstrong Nigerians including a commedia, Debo Adebayo, also known as Mr. Macaroni, proved to be above and breached the security orders Saturday February and as such were arrested.

The protesters’ first wave of action saw virtual destruction – to ground zero – of parts of Nigeria particularly Lagos in October 2020 when it was hijacked by elements described as enemies aiming to overthrow democratically elected government and destabilize Nigeria.

The DEFENDER reports the activities of some lawyers, local and international media organisations and civil societies sending misleading information aboard under the claims of human rights weeping sentiments of violence being triggered by Lekki shootings leading to acclaimed massacre of over 87 protesters but without a single death shown till present, while underplaying the reality of the actions of the violent protesters who, in truth, were the ones killing soldiers, police officers and men and destroying public and private assets including attack on the palace of the Oba of Lagos.

It is on record that the killing of security officers, soldiers, burning of police stations and burning of other private assets including the house of mother of Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and companies owned by All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Bola Ahmed Tinubu necessitated declaration of curfew meaning that deployment of soldiers by Lagos Government did not precede the violence unleashed the protesters.

But to the surprise of many, the protesters, their sponsors and sympathizers across the media, legal community and in the diaspora have labored hard to create impression of “Lekki Toll Gate massacre” to justify their violence but to no success at every stage of attempt to do so.

We also have it on record that thinking to give impetus to their anti-government and anti-Army weeping of sentiments, the Cable Network News (CNN) was brought into it and still incapacitated by lack of proof of massacre, which they had succeeded, would have enabled them back up their cooked up allegations being gathered to push the International Criminal Court (ICC) to institute genocide trial against the country and its military.

This medium reports that those lawyers, including a popular senior advocate of Nigeria and media and religious leaders, who stood by the #EndSARS protesters asking the government not to deploy security agents until after the violence had been carried with over 100 Nigerians killed by the criminal-minded protesters, later stylishly went underground leaving the government and the security agencies to bearing the brunt of the security breaches they (the unruly civilians) claimed rights to cause.

In a video watched by The DEFENDER, about three Edo prison inmates freed by the #EndSARS protesters have been caught and arrested in Imo State with high caliber weapons after which they confessed to be part of the inmates freed in Benin in October 2020.

It was also gathered that many Nigerians, who lost their jobs due to the destructions, lootings and killings caused by the protesters, are yet to recover thus necessitating any serious government to issue the order not to allow repeat of the #EndSARS under whatever disguise or name.

Mr. Macaroni and other erring youths went ahead and breached the security measure put in place authorities and they were arrested after they pushed beyond limit using all manner of provocative comments to create confusion but their blackmails resisted by the security agents who brazed up and did their job.

Mr. Macaroni in his weep of sentiment wanted him and his members to be allowed to again set Lagos on fire when, after his arrest, he said on an Instagram Live while in a police van: “Na military regime? If na military, make we know sey na military, so make everybody dey hide.”

He also tweeted: “If you’re not joining to protest at least retweet and let the whole world know about this.” #mrmacaroni #LekkiTollGateProtest #EndPoliceBrutality #BuhariMustGo

His phone and that of other protesters were later seized by the police, ending his Instagram Live session.

In the meantime, some angry Nigerians are blaming Twitter and Facebook, which stood by their own United States country against protesters of the likes of #EndSARS during the attacks on the Capitol, for turning round to continue to aid destructive protesters against Nigeria and institutions of the country.

One of them asked: “Okay, now that Mr. Macaroni used twitter handle to weep sentiment asking those who could not protest to at least retweet and let the whole world know about his and others’ arrest, to which of the world is he crying to? To America that Twitter stood for against sitting President Donald Trump when he used his supporters in refusing to accept electoral defeat to cause the havoc at the Capiol and America’s security agencies treatment of the violent protesters were open to the whole world? At least, for once, time to tell hypocrites of Nigeria that enough is enough!” He lampooned the #EndSARS 2 protesters.

ChannelsTV was also lambasted for giving support to the protesters when it reported via its website that “there is no evidence that the protesters arrested on Saturday were violent.”  The pro-Nigeria people are saying that any true blood Nigerian media, television, radio, print or online, should stand with Nigeria like their American counterparts stood with their country even when the one that misbehaved was sitting president.

Later on Saturday, a video clip surfaced on social media, of Mr. Macaroni half-naked and sweating in a bus choked with other arrested protesters.

The Federal Government had on Thursday February 11, 2021 warned against planned repeat of #EndSARS protest in the country and went on urge the organizers to cancel their demonstration.
