In a bid to rejig operations of the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON), the Honourable Minister of Works and Housing, Mr.Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN), has approved the appointment of Bldr. Adetunji Akinola Adeniran, as the Registrar/Secretary to the Council.
A consumate Building professional and astute administrator, Bldr. Adetunji Adeniran is bringing his huge professional experience in the private sector to bear on the Council, particularly at this crucial period in the country’s building industry.
A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Building and Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree holder in Construction Management, Adeniran also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Operations and Production Management.
He also attended the Advanced Management Programme (AMP 27) at the Lagos Business School of Pan Atlantic University.
In his over 30-year professional practice, Adeniran’s experience cuts across construction management of building and civil engineering works, management of investment property portfolio and running property development businesses.
He has handled operational, tactical and strategic assignments in various leading companies including Messrs G. Cappa Plc, Guffanti (Nig.) Plc, Grant Properties Limited, Oasis Realty Limited and Metrowest Limited. He served in various capacities and rose to become Executive Director of Metrowest Limited.
Bldr. Adeniran is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Building and is licensed as a Professional Builder by the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON). He was a former Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter of NIOB, as well as a proud alumnus of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru.
Adeniran is expected to bring his rich social capital and leadership skills to bear in giving progressive direction and administration of the Council as the head of its Secretariat.
He is married to Mrs. Modupeola and they are blessed with children.
