The Northern Christian wing of APC wants to deal with APC and Tinubu for the M-M ticket. Meanwhile, Bwala that said it is wrong for a Northerner to succeed Buhari has left APC and is now in PDP. Anyway, it’s an APC family matter and does not concern us, outsiders.
But, I didn’t know Babachir was this Christian and yet he used our N200m to cut grass. I didn’t know Dogara was this Christian and they were padding the budget left center right as the Speaker. If only we use this our “religiousness” to run and manage Nigeria, Nigeria would have surely been one of the best countries to live in.
Our fundamental problem in Nigeria is greed and selfishness and nearly all of us are guilty of it. We behave like we are unbending, but so mean as to kiss the feet of devilish people for the sake of some vulgar advantage. We are conceited and domineering but, since we can find no point of support in our hearts, we posture like an impotent, vain-glorious tyrants. We are self-centered egoists, who strive to gratify our material, canal desires & pursue personal interests or particular national interests that coincide with ours.
We’ll hardly get it right in this country irrespective of who the leader is till we purge that evil from our hearts.
Lord! Grant brightness of sincerity to the mirror of our heart, Cleanse the rust of hypocrisy from the tablet of our heart, and show the path of virtue and salvation to the helpless wanderers in the mazes of bewilderment and error and confusion. Endow us with the nobleness and generosity of character.
Expel the legions of Satan and ignorance from the realms of our heart; implant the divine hosts of knowledge and wisdom in their stead. Enrich our hearts with the profusion of your love, in this ephemeral lodging place.

Whenever you see some politicians writing different publications against Muslim-Muslim ticket of APC, it’s not that they love the Christians, it’s about selfish interest and to create disaffection between the Christians and Muslims in the country.

b. Emman Shehu, What I tell people is that, a Muslim-Muslim ticket is also not for a Muslim interest but the selfish interest of the politicians. However, equal participation in the selfish business should be rationalised as selfish business. We know what the antics of politics are. Why are these critics of Christian politicians calling for christian inclusion pretending as though they were not there when these selfish Christian politicians were supporters of the hegemony? Is it now that they know that these Christian leaders are selfish and all that bias being expressed?
We understand how these things work, we don’t have to pretend about them. I hate when we pretend about these realities and narrow the conversation to some mundane attempt at rationality. That writeup, sir, does not invalidate the concerns being expressed. Are the Muslim-Muslim politicians any better? Have they not ruled for these years? Is Buhari not in power? Are we not worst off than we were before his emergence? Please, we have passed that gullible stage where some people attempt to belittle the intellect of others through some quasi show of rationality.

1. A Muslim Minister Habibu Ningi made u a Special Assistant in 2003 when u were a classroom teacher.
2. A Muslim Governor Ahmadu Muazu made you a House of Representatives member in a Muslim dominated Constituency in 2007.
3. A Muslim Speaker Tambuwal and other lieutenants like Abdulmumini Jibrin, Suleiman Lasun, Alhassan Doguwa make sure u became the Speaker of the National Assembly in 2015.
4. In 2019 when you were ejected by the APC and its Governor in Bauchi, a Muslim PDP flagbearer Atiku and Kauran Bauchi gave you a platform to remain relevant.
All through your political sojourn Muslims were those that rose u to prominence, no single Christian does that not even CAN.
But here u are today running left, right and center all in the name of resisting a Muslim-Muslim ticket. This is so mean of you.
You are on a journey to dead end and you shall live to see Asiwaju/Shettima win in 2023. A Muslim/Muslim ticket will conquer right before your eyes.

d. Emman Shehu Hahaha. Does this mean that there are no Christian politicians who have helped Muslims in Nigerian politics? This comes off more like a child’s play. So, because he was fed by a Muslim the remaining Christians should go and die of hunger right? Please, let us advance more serious materials and not this blackmail sentiments being put out there.
And of course, when you live in inequality, your humanity is often subjected to this kind of ridicule by the hegemonic powers. They deny you equal participation and then humour you with smaller positions to make you feel helped and then trap you in their servitude forever, the day you seek freedom from that slavery, you loose your humanity and sense of dignity. This is what this post you have shared means, sir. It is unfortunate and sad that we have reduced ourselves to this low because of a warp system that wants to continually favour the privilege over the less privilege members of the society. Sad thing is that, we are all enablers of this injustice and inhumanity.
