No Governor of PDP, stronger party, goes to APC, Gov Bala Mohammed tells Wike, says “You are a liar”

“I just want to assure you, our elder brother, the eldest governor that is leading the Governor’s Forum, a resource person per excellence, Governor Obaseki, we are all with you. We are together, we are unified.”
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has emphasized the unity within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Governor’s Forum, saying this while refuting claims his distant successor as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Nyesom Wike, of division or internal conflicts in the Forum.
Governor Mohammed reassured Nigerians that the PDP Governors’ Forum remains solid and that rumours of members defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC) by Wike were false, labeling such claims as deceptive tactics.
His statement, it was said, was a clear assertion of the Forum’s cohesion, asserting that no single individual could overpower the collective strength of the governors.
Governor Mohammed made it clear that the party remains united and resolute, despite ongoing speculations.
In his address, Governor Mohammed also extended strong support to the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, and Governorship Candidate of the PDP in the state, Mr. Asue Ighodalo, while affirming the collective strength of the Governors’ Forum.
He commended Obaseki for his leadership and expressed confidence in his and others’ ability to succeed through strategy and knowledge.
He distanced the Forum from any form of arrogance, stating that they would rise above ignorance and face challenges tactfully.
The Bauchi governor’s message, while subtly aiming at individuals like Nyesom Wike, reinforced the message of unity while criticizing divisive elements.
He said in a live coverage by Symfoni, “We want to show Nigeria that we are one as the Governor’s Forum; there is no division, no rankle between us. One man cannot be stronger than all of us. They are doing 419, saying some of us are going to APC. They are lying. It (PDP) is a solid party.
“I just want to assure you, our elder brother, the eldest governor that is leading the Governor’s Forum, a resource person per excellence, Governor Obaseki, we are all with you. We are together, we are unified.
“There is no division in the Governor’s Forum. We are not pompous or proud, we are not arrogant. We are not joining issues with ignorant people. We are going to use the insight of knowledge, strategy, and tact to be able to conquer.”
