Olubadan elevates Sharafadeen Alli, 5 others in the Balogun chieftaincy line
The Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin on Friday August 30, 2024, elevated six chiefs in the Balogun chieftaincy line, including the Senator representing Ibadan South in the Senate, Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli.
The Oluwo of Ibadan Land performed the chieftaincy rites at the event, held at the Oke Aremo Palace.
Those elevated are Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola from Otun Balogun to Balogun of Ibadan Land, Oba Kolawole Adegbola moved from Asipa Balogun to Otun Balogun of Ibadan Land, Oba John Olubunmi Isioye-Dada formerly Ekerin Balogun to Osi Balogun of Ibadan Land and Oba Dauda Abiodun Azeez from Ekarun Balogun to Asipa Balogun of Ibadan Land.
Senior Chief Akeem Bolaji Adewoyin, the Abese Balogun is now Ekerin Balogun of Ibadan Land while High Chief Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the Maye Balogun, is now the Ekarun Balogun of Ibadan Land.
