PHOTOS: Sultan commissions new road constructed by Sokoto Gov Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto

The new Zungeru Road project initiated, constructed and completed by the Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, has been commissioned, as one of achievements of the governor in his one year in office.
The tape cutting and unveiling of plaque for commissioning of the new road were performed, on Tuesday June 4, 2024, by Sultan of Sokoto and President General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar.
The ceremony was also attended by a former Governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wammako, a former Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Adamu Aliero, Deputy Governor the Sokoto State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Idris Gobir, some former and serving members of the Nigerian National Assembly, traditional rulers among other dignitaries.
