Top APC chieftain reveals how powerful Tinubu’s aide, Ganduje are working to Bring Wike down – Media Report
Former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has revealed the strategic move by Abdullahi Ganduje to outsmart the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
He stated that Ganduje and another key aide to President Bola Tinubu are working to make the FCT Minister irrelevant but Wike thought that they are giving him more power in the ruling party.
Eze disclosed, “After losing the PDP presidential ticket, Ganduje has gone on to ensure that Wike is sent back to the classroom of practical politicking to learn the rudiments.”
He explained that Ganduje, through a calculated move, made Wike believe he handed over the Rivers State APC to him by dissolving the Rivers State Chapter and appointing some of Wike’s loyalists as the Caretaker Committee. However, it was a tactical maneuver to deal a significant blow to Wike’s brand of politics.
Similarly, Eze commended Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, for turning Wike “into an unlearned comedian, poor cook, unskilled dancer, and untalented entertainer.” Eze noted that these are ways of making Wike less politically powerful and relevant than he thought.
