Alara of Ilara Kingdom loses father, Baba Oba Thompson Ogunsanwo

Baba Oba Thompson Olawale Ogunsanwo, father of the reigning Alara of Ilara Kingdom and a Vice Chairman, Lagos State Council of Chiefs, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, Telade IV, has passed on.

The Crown Prince of Telade Ruling House in the Lagos kingdom died on Saturday January 21, 2023.

Announcement disclosing his passing was contained in a statement personally signed and copy of which was sent to The DEFENDER Friday January 27 by the paramount ruler, who expressed that the entire Ilara Kingdom in Epe Division of Lagos will be missed the octogenarian.

According to the first class monarch, who is a tax professional and former Executive Chairman of Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), burial arrangement of the Baba Oba will be made public “as soon as reasonably possible”.
