False accusation against me is mischievous, says Yari

Former Governor of Zamfara State Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has dismissed false speculations that  he is nursing a divided opinion to support and sponsor another guber candidate at state level, while supporting APC at presidential level, using his teeming loyalists in the state.

Yari, who is currently seeking for senatorial seat from Zamfara West zone, has all along been suspected of having the plan to secretly scuttle the poll victory of some candidates, especially the serving governor Matawalle who is aspiring for his second tenure.

Yari made this pronouncement when he was received at his Talata Mafara home town by thousands of APC supporters said, “Contrary to speculations being peddled by some unpatriotic members of the party, I have never directed anybody to work against the victories of any candidate vying for any position across the state”.

According to him, “There were alleged moves by some faceless maggots shopping for cheap publicity and recognition from particularly the governor and other top party officials.

He advises all APC supporters across the state to  ensure unflinching support to all the candidates in the contest for the 2023 elections right from the Presidential in down to the wards Councillors, in the hope of earning blanket victory.

“We learnt that, some unscrupulous politicians in the party have been contracted by some faceless un democratic political class to do all they could with a view to derailing the APC from It’s expected poll victories at 2023 in the state”, Yari said.

The former  Governor was in the state to flagg off his Senatorial campaigns at his Zamfara west Senatorial zone comprising of Gummi, Bukkuyum, Anka, Maradun, Bakura and Talata Mafara local government areas.
