The inspection visit saw the leadership offered by the Inspector General of police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, being eulogised by residents of the Dei Dei community.

The people said that they were sending the goodwill messages and prayers to the IGP through the CP Education, Rabi Umar, who was accompanied by over 17 commandants of all the Nigeria Police Secondary Schools in Nigeria on the official inspection of the long building of 14 classrooms and over five offices for teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.

According to one of the commandants from police secondary schools in the East, “this CP Education’s project would help the good people of Dei Dei access quality education for children in the area”.

In her response, CP Rabi Umar thanked the Inspector-General General of Police for “this great opportunity to be in the education system for some time now.”

She, however, did not speak to the press due reason we later found out to be that the inspection was not made a press affair.

The DEFENDER reports that the administration of IGP Usman has made a great deal of progress in repositioning the police in Nigeria and contribution through education development is one.
