*Say he promotes violence, cannibalism, killings in Igbo Land

The “unfortunate” efforts by some respected Igbo leaders to get President Muhammadu Buhari free their son, Nnamdi Kanu, from facing justice as consequences of his verified terrorism and evil actions against Nigeria and humanity have been condemned in totality.

This is also as desperation by lawyers of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group declared as terrorist organisation by competent court in the country, from custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) to Kuje Correctional Center has also been described as one to put him in an easier place to get him released by force of jail break.

The court has, therefore, been urged to consider antecedents of the pretentious fighter for Igbo liberation, but who in actual sense has been ordering the killing of same Igbo people and cannibalism in the region as well as promoting violence against the whole nation, and turn down continued application by his lawyers for his transfer from DSS custody to prison yard, precisely Kuje Correctional Center.

Presenting a banner in campaign against Nnamdi Kanu’s unjustifiable either freedom by Igbo leaders or his transfer from DSS custody on effort of his lawyers, Chukwuka Chizor, own of popular Ijele Blog, said Nnamdi Kanu perpetrates criminalities and should not enjoy freedom or putty of the court.

Explaining the photographs put together in the banner, on which inscribed: “Say No to Cannibalism and killings in Igbo Land, say no to IPOB and ESN”, Chukwuka pointed out areas where what boys of the Kanu-led terrorist group do is to kill innocent Igbo people, roast and eat them up.

“I am here to present this banner here to expose the criminality of IPOB and ESN because, so many things they are doing, people don’t know the implications. People are just supporting them out of emotions because they are promising them that they will bring Biafra.

“Not that Igbo people won’t want it if it comes, but there is nothing like Biafra anywhere. They are only using Biafra to perpetrate all these atrocities they are doing.

“All the people they are killing they say because they are saboteurs. How can ordinary innocent person stop a country from being actualised? It is not possible. So they are using it as a cover to perpetrate crimes”, he said, urging all good minded Igbo people to say no to any resemblance of pity or support for them or their leader in custody.

Another campaign going on by some concerned Igbo has also stood against any consideration of freedom or transfer of Nnamdi Kanu to prison.

The DEFENDER reports that that it was based on that tactics that Senator Eyinnaya Aberibe was able to secure his released over concocted bail for medical reason and helped him flee into the foreign land from where he, for two years, rained the worst of havocs on the nation including the atrocities of #EndSARS that led to killing of 37 verified police officers, destruction of over 400 BRT and other big investments in Lagos State and across the Southern part.

For these reasons, the campaigners are saying, “Nnamdu Kanu is a traitor and should be denied bail.”

Another concerned Nigerian of the Igbo extractions said in different banners, “Nnamdi Kanu promotes Cannibalism in Igbo Land. ESN kills Ndigbo. Nnamdi Kanu Promotes Violence”, and are saying there is not justification for him to either be released on bail or be transfered from the more secured DSS, where he lacks nothing and suffers no inconveniences, to prison yard.

Angered by these plots by Igbo leaders to free a confirmed terrorist from facing justice because of sentiment of “being their own”, whereas they should support government action plan against insecurity anywhere in the country, a concerned Nigerian said Nnamdi Kanu can only be transfered to prison after he has been convicted by judge.

“He is still in custody. He should only got prison when sentenced and I expect the judge to sentence him to either death or life imprisonment,” he said.
