“I personally answered some of their questions. I told them to tell whoever that told them that Muslims believe in killing so that they will receive reward in paradise to show them were it is inside the Qur’an. I even told them that if it’s true, they won’t be able to enter inside this mosque, they asked me why?, I told them that if it’s true I could have killed all of them at the door so that I will receive a big reward from Allah. They started laughing.”

A woman member of the Imo Muslim Community and health official in the Imo State system, Mrs Aishat Obi, has revealed information about a visit to her mosque, Imo Central Mosque, by students and their lecturers from Enugu State, who, she said, visited in order to learn some things about Islam.

Aishat, who disclosed this via her social media handle on Thursday, did not however mention the name of the institution they came from in Enugu but certainly, from her account, they are of a tertiary institution, The DEFENDER can comfortably report.

Aisha Obi: An Igbo female Muslim government official, who wears her hijab on uniform in Nigeria’s predominantly Christian region.

According to her, the visitors were given an open floor to ask for as many questions as they wished to ask and that answers were satisfactorily provided to their questions by the Chief Imam, Barr. Suleiman Njoku, who told them not to judge Islam with the bad characters of some so-called Muslims, who do not understand the religion.

Imam Njoku added that like there are sinners among Muslims so there are also sinners among the Christians and the Idol worshippers.
